Project Updates
December 20, 2023: Travel Lanes Narrow
Travel lanes at Old Spicewood and Spicewood Springs Road will be narrowed this week to allow the City's contractor access to locate a water line. The work is expected through Friday. There will be no impact to Spicewood Springs Road at this time. The contractor is working primarily on the detention pond at the southwest corner of Spicewood Springs and Old Spicewood. Part of that work on Old Spicewood includes placing a 10'x8' steel plate over an excavated hole to ensure safe use of the road until traffic measures are restored.
December 8, 2023: Project Commences
The City of Austin broke ground on the project. There's was a Meet the Contractor event on December 13. City officials and members of the DeNucci Constructors team were present to answer the public's questions.
April 2023: 100% Design
