Corridor Mobility Program
The 2016 Mobility Bond provides $482 million for corridor improvement projects. Corridors are primary roadways that affect the overall transportation network. They are used for getting around, destinations for residents and visitors, and home to businesses as well as many Austinites. The 2016 Mobility Bond Corridor Program is the development, design, and construction of projects along key Austin corridors that enhance mobility, safety, and connectivity for all users—whether you drive, bike, walk, or take transit.
Corridor Improvement Projects
- Getting people moving by increasing the number of people who can travel through the corridors
- Improving safety and reducing crashes through improvements to intersections and along the corridors
- Expanding transportation options by improving the safety and connectivity of Austin’s sidewalk and bicycle network.
