Measure Details and Definition
1) Definition: The measure is the portion of the total mileage in the AAA Bicycle Network currently complete.
2) Calculation method: This measure is calculated by dividing the current miles of the all ages and abilities bicycle
network completed by the total mileage of the all ages and abilities bicycle network planned for in the Austin Bicycle Plan.
3) Data Collection Process: Current mileage of the all ages and abilities bicycle network is calculated through location-specific (geospatial) data on the state of completion of projects that are a part of the network.
4) Measure Target Calculation: The targets for the percent complete of the all ages and abilities bicycle network are approved by Council in the 2014 Bicycle Plan. The targets are 20% buildout by the end of 2017, 50% by the end of 2020, and 80% by the end of 2025. Annual goals between these adopted goals are linearly interpolated.
5) Frequency Measure is Reported: Annually (Calendar Year)
