Slaughter Lane Preliminary Mobility Recommendations

The City of Austin is developing a Corridor Mobility Plan for Slaughter Lane between FM 1826 and Vertex Boulevard. The goal of the Corridor Mobility Plan is to make recommendations to enhance mobility, connectivity, and safety for all users—including people who drive, walk, bike, and take transit.

Earlier this year, the community provided input on what improvements they'd like to see on Slaughter Lane, William Cannon Drive, and Brodie Lane. The City of Austin used that information along with technical assessments of the existing infrastructure and data, such as traffic volumes, crashes and anticipated demand, to develop preliminary recommendations to improve mobility, safety, and connectivity for all roadway users.
