These projects provide comprehensive and coordinated approaches to making Austin’s streets safer by delivering critical safety improvements at high crash locations citywide. Projects are selected using a prioritization process that analyzes crash frequency and crash rates in coordination with fatality rates and severity of injuries. Funds are provided by the 2016, 2018 and 2020 Mobility Bonds.  Additional funding is provided by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), CapMetro, the Bikeways Program, Vision Zero, the Quarter Cent Program, the Sidewalks Program, and the Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) Fiscal Program.
