Grant for Technology Opportunities Program (GTOPs)

The Grant for Technology Opportunities Program (GTOPs) is a $400,000 a year grant directed at improving the community's ability to fully participate in the digital society. GTOPs provides four award pathways for local Austin nonprofit groups to apply for funding. 
GTOPs Award Pathways
  1. Core Funding ($10,000 - $35,000) 
  2. Mini Funding ($5,000 - $10,000) 
  3. Capacity Funding ($150 - $2,500) 
  4. Connect Funding (one $50,000 award)
* Organizations can only be funded once per year per pathway

Mission
  • To provide matching grant funds to Austin organizations for projects that create digital opportunities and promote digital equity in innovative ways.

  • Increase use of digital and communications technology devices
  • Increase knowledge and skills of digital and communications technology
  • Increase access to and usage of the internet
