Have questions about a specific dataset?
You can contact a dataset owner, the City of Austin staff, with questions about the content of an existing dataset or if you want to suggest a new or modified dataset. You can also use the Contact the dataset owner feature available on every dataset page to email a message or question directly to the owner about the dataset. The dataset owner will get back to you with a response, if necessary. Learn more.

Contact the Open Data Team
Our goal is to manage the technology that provides government data that is accessible and open to the public. We welcome your questions, comments and feedback to help us improve the City of Austin's Open Data Portal (Data.AustinTexas.gov).
If you have questions about a specific dataset, we recommend you contact the dataset owner with questions about the content of the dataset.
Due to the large volume of comments we receive, we cannot respond to questions and requests that do not pertain to the portal's technology. For example, our team cannot assist with Austin 3-1-1 municipal service requests, research inquiries, development and permitting processes, or public information requests.
