Residential Curbside Diversion is at 80.3% of target for the month of July and 163.5% year-to-date. The main contributors to the lower number for July are due to the continued lower curbside compost and recycling collection tonnages.

This indicator measures the percent of citizens living within one-quarter mile walking distance of a park or accessible open space if inside the urban core or half-mile walking distance of a park if outside the urban core.

Safe Routes to School (SRTS) projects include over 4600 total recommendations, of which are 1864 recommendations that rank high or very-high benefit, for improving safety for students walking and biking to school. These 1864 recommendations are the focus of SRTS implementation.

The Austin Parks and Recreation System's ranking on the Trust for Public Land ParkScore Index. This index ranks the park systems of the 100 largest cities in the U.S. based on park acreage, park size, park funding, park access, and a variety of other factors. The three factors that make up ParkScore all reflect quality: good park systems need adequate acreage, services and investment, and access. For this metric and visual, lower scores are better.

Percentage of participants who respond to an on-site survey reporting that the activity that they just witnessed contributed to their overall knowledge and understanding of world cultures, world history and/or arts of every discipline.

Sidewalks are a critical part of the transportation network for the City of Austin. This measure describes the condition of sidewalks that have been examined. A full assessment of the entire sidewalk network should be complete by the end of FY2021.

This metric is part of the SD23 Health and Environment Outcome Category. It measures programs and services that are offered in the park system that are considered accessible as outlined in the American's with Disabilities Act and guidelines for compliance in a park system.
