Impervious surfaces and other artificial land cover types were manually traced from aerial imagery taken in 2021. This dataset serves various purposes, including the computation of the Drainage Charge by the Watershed Protection Department, conducting wildfire assessments, planning for emergency operations, monitoring transportation assets, and more. The city obtains new aerial imagery and impervious cover data every two years, with each capture provided as an individual dataset. There have been no updates to this dataset since its initial capture in early 2021.
