The East 51st Street Mobility Project stems from the East 51st Street Vision Plan to create a community vision and promote coordinated redevelopment for both sides of the corridor, with the Windsor Park neighborhood to the north and the Mueller redevelopment underway to the south.

Austin has a goal to reduce the number of fatalities and serious injuries due to car crashes to zero. The High-Injury Network is a set of streets where, historically, crashes have happened, providing us the best opportunity to make reductions. This measure tracks how our targeted efforts are working over time since the development of the HIN in 2019.

This is the landing page for the Corridor Construction Program background.

This dataset serves as a part of the development process for the Austin Vision Zero programs public facing reporting applications. It is not complete, nor intended for use outside of the department’s software development efforts.
